Dzimusi Rīgā, 1981 gada 28 Jūnijā; Ieva jau kopš bērnības ir aizrāvusies ar dziedāšanu, dzejošanu un zīmešanu. Pēdējo četru gadu laikā Ieva ir iesākusi arī komponēt ar sava vīra, ģitārista Deivida Brauna palīdzību, ieraksti notiekot vīrabrāļa Endrjū Brauna mājas studijā - Anglijā. Ievai vistuvāk sirdij ir klasiskā muzika un opera. Ievas tēva brālis ir aktieris un dziedātajs Pauls Butkēvičs.
Born on 28th June, 1981 in Riga, Latvia. From early childhood Ieva has loved singing, drawing and writing poetry. During the last four years Ieva has also began composing her own music. With the help of her husband David Brown, who is a gitarist himself and her brother-in-law Andrew, in whose studio the songs are recorded; Ieva has done some of her own songs along with other, more widely known classical songs in latvian and english.
Her uncle is the famous actor and singer Paul Butkevich, known for his velvety rich voice and international career spanning over 4 decades. ( He can be found on "youtube" and "imdb" websites, among others).
